In conjunction with World Telecommunication & Information Society Day (WTISD) 2026, a video competition will be held to spotlight ideas on digital inclusion, innovation, and meaningful connectivity.
More than just content creation, it highlights how technology empowers communities while showcasing youth perspectives shaping the digital future.
Bring your creativity to life in a 40-second video inspired by the theme:
“Digital Lifelines: Strengthening Resilience in a Connected World.”
- The competition is open to university students in Malaysia.
- Participants must be 18 years and above.
- Participants may submit a maximum of one (1) entry.
- Participation is free of charge.
- Entries submitted after the deadline (4 May 2026) will not be accepted.
- Entries must be original and created by the participant.
- Entries must not contain sensitive, offensive, violent, discriminatory, controversial issues or illegal content.
- Entries must not violate copyright, trademarks or intellectual property rights.
- Entries must not include dangerous activities, stunts or harmful challenges.
- The organizer reserves the right to disqualify inappropriate entries.
- By submitting a video, participants grant the organizer the right to use, repost, edit and promote the content for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
- The judges’ decision is final.
- Winner must attend World Telecommunications & Information Society Day on 18 May 2026.
